1. Call for Admission Doctoral Program, April 2027 Enrollment

      We invite prospective international students interested in doctoral study in materials science and engineering to express their interest in joining research activities under the Nagoya University–Chulalongkorn University collaborative framework.

     Selected candidates may proceed to the official admission process of the Graduate School of Engineering, Nagoya University, in accordance with the International Student Admission Guidelines for April 2027 enrollment.

     This announcement is intended to identify potential candidates and prospective research matches. It does not replace the official admission guidelines of Nagoya University.

      Students are encouraged to contact prospective supervisors in advance to discuss research topics and eligibility.

Eligibility

Applicants should:

  • Hold (or expect to obtain) a Master's degree before enrollment.
  • Demonstrate excellent academic and research potential.
  • Obtain prior agreement from a prospective supervisor before applying.
  • Satisfy the admission requirements of both participating universities.

Application Procedure

  1. Contact a prospective supervisor and discuss your research interests.
  2. Submit the required documents for the JDP selection process.
  3. Applicants selected by the JDP will subsequently complete the official admission procedures in accordance with the Graduate School of Engineering, Nagoya University – International Student Admission Guidelines.

Timeline for International Student Admission (April 2027)

Period Activity
Before application Contact the prospective supervisor and obtain their consent before applying (mandatory for Materials Process Engineering and Chemical Systems Engineering).
5–23 October 2026 Online application registration and payment of the application fee.
19–23 October 2026 Submit the required application documents by post or in person.
After submission Download and print the examination card once it becomes available.
April 2027 Enrollment at Nagoya University.
